IS A NEW ORPHAN BLACK SERIES IN DEVELOPMENT AT AMC

first_img Login/Register With: Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Orphan Black (Photo courtesy of BBC America) Facebookcenter_img “Orphan Black” ended its five-season run in 2017 but there is some potentially exciting news for members of the Clone Club.According to Variety, sources have revealed that Temple Street Productions, which produced the original series, is on board to produce a new series set in the “Orphan Black” universe.The new show, which is said to be in the early development stages at AMC, will not be a spinoff or reboot but an all-new story set in the same world as the original; apparently, producers are currently looking for a writer for the project. The Peabody Award-winning series starred Tatiana Maslany as multiple clones who find themselves at the centre of a nefarious conspiracy.In 2016, Maslany, after being snubbed in previous years, won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress for her performance(s) in the series.
